A standard package for assay determination for main components of edible oil fatty acid and volatile compounds composition. This method is suitable for checking quality of the oil (detecting possible adulterants - for example sunflower oil in olive or hemp oil).

The method will determine the amount of fatty acid and its composition and ratio. At least the presence of following acids will be tested:

- Caproic acid

- Caprylic acid

- Nonanoic acid

- Capric acid

- Lauric acid

- Palmitic acid (cis and trans)

- Stearic acid

- Oleic acid (cis and trans)

- Linoleic acid

- 6,9,12-Octadecatrienoic acid

- Linolenic acid, methyl ester

- 11,14,17-Eicosatrienoic acid

- Arachidic acid

- 11-Eicosenoic acid

- Behenic acid
